The business context
Mudslingerz Tyres is a specialist retailer serving 4×4/SUV, motorcycle, and ATV/UTV customers. Choosing a tyre means matching dimensions, vehicle type, terrain, brand, and budget, not simply picking a product image.
What the project needed
The project needed a complete online store, from design through development, with custom features suited to a specialist tyre catalogue. The shopping journey had to help customers narrow the range and understand the product information before buying.
My contribution
The full build, from design to development
I designed and developed the website from scratch and built its custom features myself. My scope covered the storefront, the product browsing experience, and the custom functionality around the WooCommerce catalogue.
A search built around how customers choose tyres
I built the custom tyre-size search and filtering experience. The homepage starts with width, profile, and rim size. Results offer vehicle, terrain, brand, price, rating, and availability filters, with product details and per-tyre and set pricing visible in the catalogue.
The go-to developer after launch
The client retained me as their go-to developer. I continue to handle WordPress and WooCommerce development, product and pricing updates, promotional work, technical fixes, and monthly maintenance.
